“The work of transformation is not linear,
nor is it always visible in data sets or dashboards.
It unfolds in relationships,
strategies,
decisions,
wise actions
and the culture we shape
as leaders
every day
in our schools.

[...] If educational leadership is to move beyond
the limits of compliance and standardisation,
it must reconnect with its deeper purpose:
to create learning
where our young people can thrive,
and where educators can lead with integrity,
creativity
and care”.

Transforming School Leadership, Jefferson & Anderson (2025, p.21)

You’re invited

This masterclass series is an invitation to join other school leaders in taking up this important work with intention - to step away from the noise of quick fixes and narrow metrics and engage in a deeper, more sustaining exploration of what leadership in schools can be.

Based on Miranda Jefferson and Michael Anderson's new book, Leadership for School Transformation, the course offers opportunities for shared dialogue with peers, a structured action inquiry for contextual application, and 1:1 reflective supervision to advance your own leadership and progress the transformation of your school.

Your guide on the journey

Kirsty has been an educator for over 25 years, and is energised by ways of teaching and learning that engage creativity alongside the expression of voice and identity.
